Entry tool

Can you enter
Shenzhen without
a visa?

Pick your passport, route, and trip purpose. This checks the official NIA policy paths that matter most for first-time Shenzhen trips, without making you decode multiple government pages yourself.

30-day visa-free

The current unilateral list covers 48 countries and is valid through December 31, 2026.

240-hour transit

This is a real path for some passports, but only when you have a confirmed onward journey.

Work or study

These always need the proper visa in advance, even if your passport is visa-free for tourism.

Last checked March 6, 2026

Verified against official NIA policy pages published on July 4, 2025, November 3, 2025, and November 5, 2025.

Proof and walkthrough

The tool is meant to make the policy decision feel smaller

Instead of dropping you into a long explainer first, the checker compresses the eligibility tree into a result, the condition that matters, and the next route to take.

The visa checker is designed to keep the decision readable on a phone

The output reduces the policy tree to a plain-language result, the route conditions that matter, and the next action to take.

What this tool covers

The three policy paths that matter most

Unilateral 30-day visa-free entry

This is the cleanest result. If your passport is on the current NIA list, you can enter Shenzhen without pre-approval for tourism, business, family visits, or transit.

240-hour visa-free transit

This only works if you are genuinely transiting to a third destination and have the onward ticket to prove it. It is not a shortcut for direct tourism.

Mutual visa exemption agreements

A smaller set of passports qualifies under separate agreements, especially for places like Singapore, Thailand, the UAE, and Qatar.

Scope note

This tool is built for ordinary-passport travelers making tourism, family, business, or transit decisions. If your case involves residence permits, service passports, prior overstays, or unusual routing, open the official NIA source page before you book.
